It was the weekend of May 7, 1983 and DJ Mark Russo's last stand at Maxwells in Parkville MD. The Ravyns were in their heyday, a year after the release of Fast Times at Ridgemont High, and days before beginning our record for MCA. The place was packed, we were on fire. You'll notice some of the versions of tunes that appeared on recordings were in their infant stages here, some being debuted for the first time in front of an audience.
